I went to the Lucky Lady Lounge at 16:00 on a Saturday afternoon. The club has a very tight parking lot for maybe ten cars at most behind the building. There is a larger parking lot across Iowa Street behind DiLegge’s, or you can find street parking. There was no cover charge before 19:00. After 19:00, the Lucky Lady Lounge charges $5 to get in. An ATM is in the vestibule as you enter. It charges an $8 fee per transaction. To the left on the same wall as the entrance is a small bar with about four seats. The entire right side of the club is dominated by seating and an island stage about three feet off of the ground. The stage has two poles and one hanging ring. There are also railings hanging from the ceiling that most dancers made use of. Private dances take place in a small community room in the far right corner of the floorplan. Supposedly, there are also executive rooms somewhere opposite of the bar for longer blocks of time.

Sincweisers were $3 in ice cold cans and $5 in a bottle. The Saturday drink specials were Vegas Bombs, Jager Bombs, and Addie Bombs (a watermelon drink named after the bartender Addison) for $3. The middle-aged waitress was efficient, and the bartender Nadia was smoking hot. There is a light food menu available. The music was a mix of all genres and sometimes eclectic, played by a DJ that actually had a good sense of humor. He let me pick out a few songs.

When I first arrived, there were only two dancers. Both were above my weight class, and I thought about chugging one beer and hitting the ‘Push To Eject’ button. However, I stayed, seeing dancers trickling in for the later shifts. They were much better looking than the originals. Dancers would dance two songs on stage, getting topless by the second song. Dancers must wear pasties over their tits due to a local ordinance. Contact at the stage was decent: Dancers would put their breasts in your face, and you could slide money into their g-strings. Off stage, some dancers would circulate the room selling dollar dances at your table.
