L & L nicer club, more $, less mileage

Leather & Lace us located just of South Blvd in an area of Charlotte that is a very "hot" real estate area. The building has recently been redone. There is limited parking but both the parking and building are much nicer than it used to be.

You enter the club into an indoor entryway where you need to push a buzzer to get into the club. The bartender buzzes you in. No cover in the afternoon. As you enter the bar is to your right. There were 2 men sitting at the bar with "Jordan" the bartender that I remember as a dancer at Gold. I asked her about it and she said she still dances on occasion. I got a beer which was between $5 and $9, but honestly, I don't know how much.

There were 3 dancers that I spotted, 2 Caucasian and 1 AA. The AA was on stage and very friendly. One was pretty cute, at least a 7, the other two were 5 - 6. All were 30's. (The stage is at the other end of the small club from the bar). In between are tables and chairs. The other 2 dancers kept going in and out of the dressing room. I tipped the AA on stage. She gave me a light handshake and rubbed against me for $1. After finishing, she came to sit with me. Told me that dances on the floor are $15 (used to be $5) and that there is no touching at all. Weird, I can get a handshake for $1 at the stage, but no touching with the floor dances. I used to get pretty good mileage here for $5. She told me that VIP dances are $30 and much better.
