Step back in time
This club is almost half way from south bend to Indianapolis so it seemed like a good place to stretch the legs and maybe try a few dances before getting back on the road. The club is behind the main road and parking lot seemed safe during the day. No cover but a drink order was strongly encouraged. Bottled water cost 5 dollars and was cold and wet. The decor looked like something out of the 1980s with cafeteria style seating tables and chairs. There was a large stage with poles on either corner and lighting was adjusted by the girl depending on how much they were trying to hide. Stage side tipping was appreciated but not encouraged. Heard the place might be for sale but can not confirm.
Two sets of restrooms the men’s closest to the bar was without a door and also without any toilets. Urinals and sinks only. Later found another set of bathrooms further down by the pool table and vending machines which did have other options such as toilet paper. Signs were posted near the restrooms that all dances were 10 dollars each no exceptions. Seemed like a bargain as most of the songs were full length 3-5 minutes.
Wide variety of women on stage all colors all ages all sizes. Had several dances from one dancer who said she was new to the club visiting from New York. All dances are done on a single row of chairs along the back wall of the club and was told several of the regulars had their favorite corner and one dancer advertised that her chair had extra cushioning. So did she but her dance was mechanical.
Asked one attractive dancer about private dances and she pointed to to row of chairs along the wall and said that was as private as it would get. She did hint that several of the dancers liked to sing once they got off stage but was not interested since the auditions on stage were underwhelming. May return to see if quality picks up on the weekends.
