Very underwhelming first visit

Since this was my first night at the clubs since March 2020 I decided to check out Gold after watching the fights next door at Vanity. Over the years I spent most of my time at Kahoots (now apartments) and Sirens (may never reopen) so I am in need of a new favorite club.

I got there about 1:30. $20 cover charge which was ridiculous. Not sure if there was an upcharge for the fights but they had been over for an hour. I always thought Gold was a bigger club with a fancier interior, just the impression I always had. In fact it is a pretty small club with low ceilings so don't expect any great pole work. It looks like pretty much any other mediocre strip mall bar you have ever seen.

Bar on the left with very very tiny lap dance stalls behind it, stage is back right and "VIP" area was to the right, roped off, and up a couple steps.
