Thursday at The Astor

This was my first visit here in a while, so some of this may be redundant.

First off, The Astor is a little south of Janesville and easy to get to. It also is very visible from the road, so you would probably be able to find it easily. It also is out in the country, so the neighborhood is very safe.

There is a large parking lot out in front. As you enter, there is a metal detector just inside the door. Someone at the window will take your entry fee, ($5 daytime $10 nightime}. I don't know when the fee changes. Probably around 7:00.

The club has been recently remodeled and it has a stone surface bar straight ahead with a couple of TV's showing sports. The stage is to the right of the bar with seats at the rail and a pole in the center. There are tables scattered around the rest of the room. The bathrooms are in the back and easy to find.

Drink prices are 4.50 for domestic beer, around 7-10 for mixed drinks and shots. Dance prices are 1 for 25. ViP rooms are available, but I don't know the prices. Maybe that info is available from previous reviews.
