Just a shell of its former self

Wow...this place used to be the King of the Hill of Minneapolis strip joints. It never was the best lap dance spot, but just by it's sheer size and number of hot women, it would be the place that was consistently packed. Those days now appear to be long gone.

I made my annual trip to the Vu to check if things had gotten any better there late on a Thursday after a very satisfying visit to Downtown Cabaret. While most Minneapolis clubs re-opened post Covid for the second time in January, the Vu did not reopen until around Easter. There were no significant Covid protocals in place on this visit.

Got to Deja Vu around 2 a.m. when the place is usually jamming with the bar closing rush. But this night it was so subdued. Where usually at that time you would have to stand or rove around to find a free chair, this night you could sit pretty much anywhere you want...maybe 30 customers total in the club. Only a handful of folks at the rail, and about half of them were chicks.
