Thursday early evening

Situated on the corner of 95th and National, Heartbreakers is a brick building with a castle-like motif on the roof (alternating square projections). The parking lot on 95th behind the building is ample, and other lots are available too.

Upon entering, and going up a few stairs, the admission was $5 (applies daily before 9 pm). My ID was checked by the tall bald man. I was not required to get a drink. This is a mid-sized club. The bar is to the left and there is a woman bartender. Straight ahead are some tables and chairs, pretty comfortable. One customer wore a mask, but absolutely no one else did. The light level is medium, and the music volume is medium. Music was from video music station and was on some TV's--there are several other TVs on the walls with sports on. One stage with a pole is straight ahead and was in use the whole time. The second stage, you go up a ramp on the right, to a separate section of the club and that one was not in use. The rest rooms are in back of that and are nice.

My visit was on a weekday evening, 7-8:15 and, there were up to 5 men customers (besides me) and 7 total dancers with names including Ripley, Naomi, Sunny, Rocky, Mollie, Nollie, and Dollie (no kidding!). I was told it usually gets busier after sports events. I was told that most of the dancers were rather new. Checking my list of names from a year ago, there is no overlap. Notably, all were white - no AA or Hispanic, in contrast to all my prior visits. 5 were thin and 2 somewhat thicker.
