Still a ways to go

Stopped by on a Friday early evening to see if there had been any improvement since the last reviewer and I'm sad to report that nothing seems to have changed. First, the logistics: I entered around 7pm and it looked like the coat check girl and bouncer were still setting up. No cover charge at this hour--I walked through a metal detector in the foyer and straight into the bar, no temp check, sheets where you write down a fake name or anything. No one was wearing masks.

The action, such as it is, is still around the main bar and stage to the left as you enter. There was one girl on the stage at a time, who would dance a couple of songs and then go around the bar for the $1 tips. There were about 6 girls that evening, a mix of Hispanic, EE and AA. I recognized a couple of them from pre-COVID. I wasn't attracted to them then and that hadn't changed post-COVID. There were about 20 customers sitting around so a lopsided ratio of customers/girls. All in all, the whole scene lacked energy and in fact it was kind of depressing.

Also they seem to have raised drink prices. My Bud Light cost $10 which I think is a boost from pre-COVID.
