Hong Kong is not just about the weekends

Went to HK from June 27-29. I have been there before twice on Friday-Sunday trips. I had fun, but I found those days to be very crowded. I decided to see what it was like at less peak times.

Normal travel plans. Flew into San Diego on Sunday morning. Took the 992 MT bus to San Diego Trolley downtown. Took the trolley to the border. Super convenient. Fares for one-way are $2.50. Went through PED west border station. Walked through the Mexican citizens line because the guard was old guy sitting in a chair barely paying attention. Put my bag through the scanner and I was in Mexico!

Took a cab to hotel Cascadas where I had a room. They seem not to have the shuttles waiting to people up anymore. Cab charged $7 which seemed like a ripoff, but I came expecting to spend money. Check in was easy and I went down to HK.

HK on a Sunday is not as crowded as Saturday, but there was a good crowd there in the afternoon and evening. Probably 50% of the people that are there on a Friday/Saturday. The Miami room is not really used and the third and fourth floor are closed off. Mixed drinks and beers are $4 which is great because I am a rum and coke guy. There were probably 50-60 girls there total, maybe a little more. Even though there are less girls, the quality does not suffer that much. On the weekends, there are more 9s and 10s but there are so many guys you have to compete with. On a typical Friday/Saturday, the really hot ones are scooped up quickly by a meseros or guys waiting for them to stop dancing. If you turn your head for a second, they are gone. I am a picky guy so that annoys me. Complete opposite on Sunday-Tuesday. You had time to get a drunk, go the bathroom, walk around the block and the smokeshows would still be standing there waiting to be picked up. A lot of times, they were just playing on their phones or talking to friends. That offsets the fact there are less girls there. Because of this, I had more sex than I ever had a HK before. I ended up going into San Ysidro on Monday and Tuesday to get more $ because I was smashing so much. 4 on Sunday, 3 on Monday, and 3 on Tuesday and I had to leave Mexico at 6 pm! It was crazy. None of the girls were less than an eight. Had my first 10 at HK ever. If you like smashing and don't really care about partying/drinking, I would recommend Sunday-Tuesday. Also, with VIP, rooms are less expensive.
