Disappointment abounds in Bound Brook

Like many of you, this was my first post Covid visit. I was in the area around 4:30 on a hot Saturday afternoon. Had never been to this place prior to this visit. Its right on the Main street in Bound Brook, with pretty easy access from I287 (maybe 5 minutes). Was hoping to find a hidden gem but that wasn't the case. As far as jiggle joints go in NJ, this one is decent sized. Large rectangular bar when you walk in. 3 or 4 pools tables to the left up on a slightly different level. It was close to 95 outside, and the AC was cranking inside, so that was a plus. Enough TV's spread around to watch a game if needed. There were maybe 12 patrons in the place when I walked in, and maybe 5-7 gals working.

Ordered a beer from the bartender, ($5 for a Bud). There were 2 to 3 gals on stage behind the bar pretty much the whole time I was there. And they actually spun around on the pole. After their 10 minute set, they did the dollar parade tour around the bar, but they only came by each person one time, not 2 or 3 like in other places I've seen. Of the 6 dancers I can remember, at least 4 were pretty cute, not overweight. Mostly latino or spanish. One AA gal. A few others not so much. But after getting their dollar (and a few didn't even do that, go figure), they all went back to their regulars or their cell phones. I had cash to waste, but not one gal came by looking for a dance. Matter a fact, for the 45 minutes I was there, I didn't see anyone getting a dance.

If dances were to be had, there is a small couch in the back right corner of the place that I assumed is where the dances would take place. This half wall separates it from the bar, so very little privacy. But if you were getting a dance, at least everyone at the bar in that corner would have their backs to you. I did a recon of the place looking for a VIP area, but I didn't see one. Wish I could comment of the quality of the dances, but the gals were not aggressive on this day.
