The old adage- do your research first

After moving to Detroit from Atlanta in early June, decided to kill some boredom visiting one of the strip clubs. Never read any reviews and ended up visiting Trumpps based on images of how the place looked clean and upscale. $7 for valet which I didn't mind and $10 cover which I still felt was reasonable given the exorbitant cover charges in Atl on Friday nights. I go in and my whole opinion changes. Less than 5 girls-all average looking and most seated with their regulars. Got ripped off for a drink by the first stripper who greeted me and who took off to one of her regulars as soon as she got her drink. Wonder when the day would come when I can just turn down bluntly drink request unless I'm interested in the girl.

Anyways a decent looking girl who had a nice rack and somewhat thick body approached me and I hadn't been to a club in over a year so just chose to engage with her and get some dances. Was told it was $20 to get to the private booth and then $30 a dance. A rude shock considering high mileage $10 dances in Atlanta but nevertheless I just went for it.

Walk upwards to the private booth only to realize it was no booth but just a bunch of couches scattered around in the open. So sucked it up and was praying the dance was atleast good enough to salvage this night. But as my luck would have it I was getting none of it. The whole 3 songs went by with a mediocre dance with little to no moves and even the grinding was so so. By end of third song I just told I was done, paid her the $90 and walked away from there and the club.
