Decent first time

I visited Lipstix on Sunday night around 11pm. After passing through a metal detector, I was met by a jolly bouncer who simply asked whether I was carrying any weapons. No cover charge was assessed.

The club had a pretty mellow atmosphere and generally felt safe. Both clientele and dancers were racially diverse, but I did not get a thuggish vibe from anyone.

It is a relatively large space with ample bar and table seating. There were about ten customers present and it felt quite empty. The decor was fine, unremarkable, lots of red lighting and about 20 framed Marilyn Monroe photos and posters adorning the walls. Smoking patio out back.
