When You Are an Addict…

I am so spoiled by the Tijuana clubs that I have been to few USA clubs for the past four years. (Of course Covid contributed to my hiatus.) My contract ends this week and the SR in Oxnard is almost walking distance from my hotel, so I had to invest a few hours to feed my addiction, er ah I mean in the name of research.

The club reopened recently. They start at 8:30 pm, which is likely to change as business picks up. The area around the club is industrial with a few RVs on the street that likely house homeless. Overall it is fairly clean and I didn’t feel particularly unsafe. The parking lot is well lit and signs indicate that there are security cameras. There were some high-end cars in the lot. No fee for parking.

Entering the cover is $20 collected by Joshua. That name is easy to remember, because he is as big as a tree. Came across as nice, friendly, and was well dressed. The interior is nice, clean, with comfortable chairs at tables and around the stage. On the right is a juice bar and on the left is the “VIP” area. There is a single stage with a single pole (like the pole count matters).
