Take a Bow

This club saw an influx of talent late last year due to the Chicago clubs being closed. You’d get girls from Club 390, The Mannheim Strip, Pole Katz and Atlantis mixed in with the local dancers on the $10 dance Mondays. This was one of the only options available to them, and did they take advantage of it. So did many of Chicago and Indiana’s strip club goers. You could get great mileage from some of Chicago’s finest girls at half the cost of what they charge at their home clubs. Fast-forward to now and those girls have all gone back to those clubs. It was fun while it lasted.

The first sign that everything was on the decline was when I hit the club back in April for their Tuesday $10 dance special. There were at least 20 customers at 10:30 PM and 1 thin hot blonde dancer. That didn’t stop the doorman from charging me a $16 cover though. There was no stage show. The only action was the DJ visibly smoking in the upstairs VIP room, looking down at the club as the virtual DJ played rock and rap.

“I came in on my day off for this?” I overheard some customer complaining to one of the floor guys. When one of the servers came to get my drink order, I asked where all the dancers were. Her response? “A lot are tired from Monday and don’t come in on Tuesday.” Then why are you even advertising specials on Tuesday and charging a $16 cover? Instead of complaining like my fellow strip club goer, I took off after a half hour and vowed to stick to Monday’s. Sadly, this Tuesday night was a taste of things to come.
