Minx is the better option in VA Beach, much more room, action, and entertainment than Mermaids. I visited on a Saturday evening. The girls averaged mid to upper level tier and was a nice mix of all types...definitely something for everyone. The club itself was simple with main and side stages. Drinks and dances were reasonably priced. Dances were $25 a song and the songs were not overly shortened. Lap Dance songs were played from a jukebox in the hallway and the dancers picked the songs. Sometimes dancers would ask of ones to play their own songs, other times I would guess another guy in a different booth paid. Lap dance rooms were semi-private (three walls with a mesh curtain). Lots of cameras and no touching rule enforced, so I doubt much else is available. Bouncers were plentiful and seemed to keep some control though it didn't get rough on this night. I would recommend the club and I will return next time I pass thru town.
