Vivide is really not Follies at all
This was my second visit to Vivide, i.e. Follies Daytime. I think they should no longer be able to use that name in any way. The only resemblance to Follies was Barry (the manager) and a few former Follies regulars being hopeful.
Vivide is not on the beaten path. I followed my GPS and got there, but it is not in a great area, not right off a highway, etc. Parking lot is big. Seems fine during the day.
There is a guy at the door, $10 cover. Many daytime clubs don't charge a cover, $10 is significant given my experience. You enter on the top floor and need to walk a circuitous route to some steps which lead you downstairs. The upstairs is officially not open during the day. The downstairs has the large modular booths which are benches, couches or something that are covered in vinyl. Not really attractive, not really comfortable, not at a great height for a lapdance. There is a bar with at least 10 stools, and some VIP rooms along one wall.
