Sunday night

Stopped by Tootsies on a vacation visit to Miami. Have been here a few times before. Paid the cover which I think was $10 and went into the huge club. Sat at a table on the main floor. Place was busy but not too crowded. Surprisingly did not see that many girls circulating, which was disappointing. I didn't go upstairs where you have to pay extra, because I have never really needed to. But this time I regret not going upstairs as it seemed like it was pretty busy and maybe a lot of the girls were up there with the big spenders. Got drinks but no dances. Got approached a few times but declined because I was holding out for better options. Bathroom was big and clean and the attendant was nice but probably could go a little easy on the soap and paper towels.

Something different I noticed was lots of customers who you would normally not see at Tootsies, more of the former King of Diamonds, or G5ive crowd (urban hip-hop crowds). Some of them were having trouble getting in due to not knowing the dress code. Tons of people were in Miami that weekend since tourists have been flocking to Miami, and probably had a lot of the wannabe high rollers locking down the girls upstairs in the second floor section is my guess. Was hoping for a better visit, but will still come back to Tootsies any time I visit Miami, along with my other favorite spot (Playmates).
