When driving through Oxnard...

This bikini club visible just off the 101 is and always has been a locals hangout for retirees in the area. No lap dances and no nudity, more of a hangout with eye candy- the girls have to wear 2 layers of bikini bottoms to satisfy some rule in Ventura County I guess. Covid rules have upended this place so your experience will theoretically be different after June 15th.

Parked out in front is a food truck. The entry to his place is now no longer from the front but from the rear emergency exit which is next to a shade tent that has some outdoor seating. Temp taken before entry. No cover at 4pm. Walking into the club, the seating at the stage has been removed and a yellow chain and stanchions keep you from getting within three feet of the tip counter. The bar is covered with plexiglass panels now. A pool table beyond it is next to what was the front door entry. The usually disgusting bathroom off to the side of the table looks to have been rehabbed with fresh paint and a new toilet and faucets. Upon approaching the bar I was told to take a seat at one of the tables across from the stage and have my order taken. Waitress/dancer appeared shortly, when I asked for a beer she handed me a menu and said I had to order food as well to satisfy some other arcane Ventura Covid rule. Two chicken tacos for 4 dollars and a 30 oz giant mug of beer for 10, not bad. When the food appeared 15 minutes later, I have to admit that it was actually really good.

There is no DJ at this place, the girls program their two songs on a Jukebox that ends their sets with automated audience applause and a bizarre sampled clip of a comic saying 'Thankyou... Thankyou' It seems like everyone that works here except the bouncer outside take turns dancing here. The lighting is usually somewhat dim, but on this trip the back door next to the stage was propped open for ventilation- bathing the girls with a steady revealing light that made it an extra pleasure to look at them. Personally, I'm tired of trying to discern what I'm looking at in darkness punctuated by colored pulsing lights at most clubs.

The girls looked to be all MILFs ranging from 5 to 7s, 4 white and 1 latina. I found it all visually pleasing with natural curves and heft but could see how a twenty something guy would find it dissatisfying- hence all the smiling old dudes at this place.

If you don't walk up and drop a tip at the stage, the girls will come around to collect at least a dollar from each guy after their set. The personalities of the girls are all really nice and they seem to genuinely enjoy conversation- especially since there is no hustle to be had for dances. Doesn't seem to be an OTC place either, I once saw a girl get pissed and walk away from a guy she had been hanging with after he started to hassle her with demands to meet later.
