Let me start off by saying that this place has changed dramatically and quickly from the last time I visited 9 months ago, and not in a good way. Quick review - I show up at about 1:20 in the morning to a very full parking lot, as there is a rally of sorts for lifted and tricked out trucks in the area, so I feel like there's going to be some good entertainment inside if there's still this many people there at this time. Dead wrong. To be very clear, I have absolutely no issues with women of color, and I think that different ethnicities each have their own appeal whether it be black, Hispanic, Asian, etc. There were approximately 20 girls that I could see working and all but one of them were black. Now if this has become a Afrocentric club and I'm just not aware of it, then my fault for being misinformed, but regardless of where I go, when it comes to gentlemen's clubs, I want there to be a decent amount of diversity. I would be writing the same review if it was all white girls and one black or Hispanic girl, as I don't find that enjoyable. The best clubs have a wide selection of talent to suit everyone's wishes. And here's the thing - that is the absolute least of this club's problems.

Upon entry, I'm asked for $10 cover despite it being after 1 am not unexpected, so I pay the doorman, go through the frisk, and walk in. I go up to the bar and order a Malibu and orange juice double. I give the bartender a credit card and ask to open a tab, which then prompts her to ask for ID which she holds on to with the card until I close the tab - no problem. I can appreciate that there are a fair amount of deadbeats that necessitate such precautions. After receiving the drink which was definitely a double but in a small plastic cup, I hang out for one and a half to two songs before deciding that this just wasn't the vibe that I was hoping for. I have to walk to the other end of the bar to get the bartenders attention since she was sitting down on the counter behind the bar as if she were a customer enjoying the show. I let her know that I want to close out my tab, and she comes back with the receipt for the aforementioned drink, that is singular, for $31.20. for those of you who may be in high cost of living cities, this is Daytona Beach, One of the most economically downtrodden areas on Florida's East Coast. I look at the bartender in disbelief, while keeping in mind that it is likely not her doing, although I can certainly believe the possibility that they just wanted to get as much out of me for one drink as possible. I signed my receipt and go to speak to the manager who is standing behind the bar about 15 ft away. He tells me the same thing that she does - each drink is $15, to which I made sure to let him know that three other strip joints in the area that I visited this same evening prior to coming here, the same exact drink was no more than $12 at any of those other establishments, not to mention they poured those drinks higher in bigger glasses/cups.

I understand this was late in the evening, and I even understand that businesses have to do what they can to try and make up for what they may have lost due to the pandemic. This club was open during the pandemic as I visited last August right in the midst of it. There is no reason to charge $32 for a very small double Malibu rum and orange juice in any establishment in Volusia county. So, if you come here be prepared to either pay up for drinks or go the virgin route, and not in a good way. Can't possibly see myself visiting this club at any point until I hear multiple instances of this type of price gouging not being an effect as well as the overall atmosphere being more like what it used to be.
