Rookie mistakes for a formerly all-star club

Was in Tampa a couple weeks ago and made a special effort to check out Mons Venus for my first time after reading/approving so many reviews of the years about this renowned club. My was it disappointing.

Granted it was 9:30 p.m. on a Monday when I entered. Paid the $22 cover and had my choice of just about any seat in the place. Just one other couple was there sitting right at the stage. Bought my $6 coke and decided I might as well sit at the stage too. There appeared to be only 3 dancers working and one was very green, or just very bad, based on how awkward she moved on stage.

What really surprised me was that no DJ was on duty so dancers had to punch in their musical selections on a jukebox. But they all seemed to be confused on how it worked, which led to several lulls of no music in the house. A strip club without music is so sad. I could actually hear the hand dryers blowing in the men's room a couple times.
