Landing Strip is near the airport -- get it?

In recent years I've usually hit the Landing Strip twice in my two-week vacation in Austin every summer. I missed my annual pilgrimage to Austin last summer, so this was my first visit to this club since January 2020. As usual, I went twice on consecutive Tuesday afternoon. This review pertains to both visits.

On both visits I arrived around 1 p.m. and stayed for about three hours. Parking is free and daytime cover is $6. On both visits I chose to sit at a table on the wall situated between a set of steps up to the stage and the entrance to the dressing room, for which I paid $25. That's a bit pricey but signals to the dancers that you're there to have fun.

On both visits I bought a Mexican beer for about $6.50 and a couple of dancer drinks that ran $10 each. Lap dances at your table cost only $5 all afternoon on Tuesday, so on both visits I picked the first girl I saw on stage to do a series of 6-8 increasingly touchy-feely lappers, usually 3-4 at a time, for which I paid only about $40 total. At some point our conversation turned to VIP room possibilities, and both girls that I spent time with had no hesitation about providing a BBBJ in the VIP room for $200 plus $50 to the house.
