Hot afternoons of XTC

In recent years I've usually hit this place twice in my two-week vacation in Austin every summer. I missed my annual pilgrimage to Austin last summer, so this was my first visit to XTC Cabaret since January 2020. As usual, I went to XTC twice, on a Sunday afternoon and again on the following Saturday afternoon; this review pertains to both visits.

On both visits I arrived around 3:30 and stayed for about two hours. Once I parked in the club lot, just to the left of the main entrance, which cost $7, and the other time I parked along the Andtree Lane side of the club for free. Cover both times was $15; one time I paid the $25 VIP fee at the entrance and the other time I paid during my visit when I decided to go to the VIP room.

On both visits I brought in a bag containing two tall cans of beer that I bought at a convenience store on the way and paid $6 for a box of ice to keep them cold.
