An Oddity at DD’s

Stopped by Diamond Dolls during the day last weekend just to see what it was like. Day shift at Cheetah and Booby Trap has been pretty good on my recent stops. Diamond Dolls, however was a very different story. First, the parking lot had plenty of empty spaces. The doorman was actually pleasant (strange). Gave my $2 for parking and no cover before 7pm. No need for a mask.

Inside, the layout is the same except for one table on the left hand side that had a pole in the middle of it going to the ceiling. Don’t recall that being there before. Wasn’t used during the day but would be pretty cool if dancers use it at night. Possibly a replacement for that dinky satellite stage they have??

There were 20 patrons and only 10 dancers in the 5-7 range. Most appeared to be Cuban and the cuter dancers were all enhanced (I prefer natural). The place actually looked a little depressing. Most of the patrons were sitting at the bar, which meant there were a number of empty tables. Girls weren’t really making the rounds either. Just one dancer on stage which is normal this time of day doing their three song set (outfit, topless then nude). Even the waitresses seemed to be lax today. They have a 2-drink minimum but none even bothered to stop by.
