Uptown was unsatisfying...

I was staying in Uptown and this establishment was within walking distance. The area seems pretty safe. The doorman stared at my ID for more than a bit and then asked a question that made him seem like a bumpkin. Once inside the girl working the counter asked for my ID again, and I paid the $15 cover. I was a bit early as the place doesn’t liven up till after midnight. A lot of the tables had names on them. I wasn’t sure if they were reserved by said name or that is the name of a waitress covering it, so I took a table without a name card.

The early talent is mediocre since mostly lower earners clock in early due to lower house fee to start earlier in the night.

In terms of demographics, I thought it was pretty diverse since I am used to clubs that are well over majority white. There are some 30+ girls and also sub 21 girls (they allow 18+ to work in a club with alcohol in NC). To my disappointment most of the younger girls seemed to be less enhanced and not the hottest. I talked to girl who commutes 2 hours to get there from a rural part of the state. I learned dances start at $60/song and the 30 min VIP is $600. It seemed like an expensive starting point with no true stunners. It is a topless club even in the stage show, where few tipped as I believe stage seating was only recently reintroduced. Most gave half hearted performances. Again this place does better when the crowd is more inebriated later in the night; they are open past 3 am, but stop serving alcohol at 2 am. Overall this is probably the best club in the area, but given the high prices and average dancer looks i don’t think it is a must visit.

On the COVID front, no masks or temp check required. I saw two dancers and one security personnel with masks.

Note they charge you ~$1 more using credit card masked as “security fee” that is related to the fancy tablet payment system. Also don’t come in a tank top and shorts as I saw guys getting turned away for this attire as I left.
