Booby Trap Taking Names and Kicking Ass….But Buyer’s Beware!
Club Arrival and Amenities
BT Pompano is down the street from Cheetah and a stones throw away from Diamond Dolls. This review is for Wednesday of this week. The Club exterior has dual lots for parking. On a packed night you will get sent to park in the dirt field parking lot for $1. On a light night you can park close in the first lot also for $1 and VIP will set you back $5. I had been to BT Pomp only once prior to the remodel when the club was grungy and smelled like pungent PISS! That’s all gone and even the makeshift wooden ramp to the entrance is gone. The club has a proper entrance that has moved further up. The club is small but has verticality now with the finished remodel. This club from the inside has a similar 2 floor set up like at Club E11even Miami but has 2 bars on opposite ends with a long central dance stage. Didn’t go upstairs but the 2nd level also has a bar from what I could see. The club has all the flash and bang of Scarlett’s and E11even and probably has the largest flat screen tv to watch sporting events against a high wall of night sky star lighting. The 2nd floor railing has snazzy LED billboards promoting the club name and animations of dancers. The Sound System is LOUD and your ears will be left ringing, but on my first night here it was undeniable the energy a pumping sound system brought this club to life. On each side of the central stage you have table seating and VIP like booths similar to what Solid Gold kinda had. I sat all by my lonesome on stage…very few seats on stage unlike the Scarlett’s setup. Felt like this is something the club has to improve on. Entrance was $10 bucks with a pat down at the door.
