Second time at BT's

Last Saturday I decided to check out BT's. I'd been there only once before, and this was about two years ago, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought about parking in the strip mall lot across the street, but pulled into the BT's lot anyway. I thought it would be maybe seven bucks, but turns out valet parking there is $10. No big deal. Plus, the valet attendant working at that time turned out to be a very attractive young lady. I took that as a good sign and went in.

Since it was a bit before 4:00 PM there was no cover charge. They did not bother checking my temp and there was no sign-in sheet; hopefully we're done with all that nonsense for good. The club was surprisingly well-lit, and it didn't take long for my eyes to adjust.

The bar is well-maintained and definitely not a dive. I'd say it's on the level of Silver Criket or Dream Girls. The door guy said I could sit at a booth, no charge except a tip. Cool. I sat down and immediately a very attractive AA or mixed girl came by to ask if she could join me. She was sort of a cute combination of Lisa Bonet and Rosario Dawson, and I said sure. She said her name was Ivy, but she also dances at the Criket as Tina. We chatted a little until the waitress came by and I bought a beer for myself and a cranberry juice for her. The total for that was $16.
