Same CH as before, for better and worse

Just got all my shots and wanted to see what the outside world was like after a long hibernation, so of course I went down to the ol’ CH. Well in a word, it was pretty much the same as always!

Okay, for first time viewers, this place is a converted movie theater (it’s been a long time) and over the many years I’ve visited, it’s changed a bit but the current configuration is the same as back in 2019. There’s the front half which has the long narrow stripper stage plus 2 poles in the wide part of the stage in back, not being used today. In the back half is about 12 or so rows of theater seats to the right side (none have been taken out for social distancing), and a kinda fenced off VIP section to the left that I’ve never seen used. To hallways off to the right are the private show booths. ATM and soda machine in the back. $8 fee for ATM, which is actually not bad for a strip club. (I think some of the N Beach ones charge $30 or something stupid.) Atmosphere-wise it’s exactly like 2019 except all the staff and 90% of the customers were masked up, which was pretty weird but cool. We’re almost at the finish line!

Okay tonight there were 6 or 7 dancers of all various kinds of body types. It was a mix of ladies but no black girls, which is a bit of a shame for variety sake. The crowd was average for a CH Thursday. A bunch of single dudes and then a couple small groups of dudes came and went over the 3 or so hours I was there. The groups were making it rain at the stage which was pretty fun. I also overheard them later being pretty impressed with the dancers, which is cool. Something about better quality than LA. If you’ve been to CH you know their ladies really cover the spectrum of body types and it’s really a situation of “something for everyone.” The stage seating is fun because, for a small contribution to the dancers’ medical college fund, they’ll a lot of the time slide down from the stage into your lap and into your face.
