sinclair's Review

I went to the Aragon Bar on a Friday night at 20:00. Parking is on the sides of College Street. There was no cover charge to get in. The building has two rooms. The front room closest to the street is like a normal sports bar with a bunch of pool tables and dart boards. The back room is the strip club, and it is accessed through two separate doors on the left and right sides of the front room’s bar. The back room has a two-pole runway stage coming off the back wall. Music is played off of a TouchTunes jukebox. A Sincweiser was $4. The bar no longer serves Grain Belt, which is just sacrilege in Minnesota. The middle-aged bartender was kind of pushy for us to keep buying drinks.

There were only three dancers working on a Friday night for fifteen to twenty patrons. Ashley Paige is a Caucasian dancer with a blonde pixie cut, brown eyes, D cup breasts, and a tattoo sleeve on her right arm. I’d grade her out at a 7. Quite the promoter, she tries selling eighteen month wall calendars of herself to the simps. The second dancer looked to be an Italian with wavy brunette hair, B cup tits, and a rose tramp stamp. I’d grade her out at a 6. The third dancer was Chinese mixed with something else. She had B cup breasts with really dark areolas and wore glasses. I’d grade her out at a 5. The stage was empty until close to 21:00 when dancers started doing three song sets. Entertainers stripped down to topless, and one-way contact was allowed at the stage. Lap dances are $20 per song and take place in booths inside the right wall. The doorways are open and most of the club gets a partial view inside. I watched from the bar as Ashley Paige gave a guy some dances. She spent a lot of time leaning against the wall and dancing in front of him as opposed to grinding on his lap. Contact seemed super lame. Three years prior, I was finger blasting dancers in the old booth setup that seemed slightly more private.

CJ's Revenge, which is about 14 miles away, was closed. Whether the closure is temporary due to the pandemic or permanent is unclear. A couple other guys trying to strip club at CJ's Revenge followed me over from Myrtle to Albert Lea. They were annoyed by the scarcity and unfriendliness of dancers at the Aragon Bar. I concurred that if this club can’t staff at least a half dozen strippers on Friday and Saturday nights, they might as well go the way of the dodo. My May 2021 visit was a big step down from my last visit to the Aragon Bar in May 2018.
