The fall of Cabaret Royale - now a total dump

I might be sharing my age here, but does anyone remember Cabaret Royale from the late 80's right up until the late 90's??? This at one time was an absolutely gorgeous club with remarkable talent and amazing food. Since it was sold to Burch it has been on a steady decline and really is a dump. They have let this building go so bad that I can only imagine what we do not see when the lights are on. What would Gordon Ramsay see if he went into their kitchen? Let's face it, if the building is falling apart all around, are they really keeping the kitchen clean and keeping the hoses clean at the bar? Not likely!

I went in on a Sunday afternoon because I was driving through the area and wanted to see if I could find a little hottie in any of the clubs. I paid a ridiculous $9 cover charge (BBD charges $3) and went in and got a bottle of beer. A quick glance around and I was about ready to leave. I decided to sit and drink my beer on the remote odds that there might be something appealing. I really like thin latinas with no tattoos...like between 90-110 pounds. It wasn't happening here! All of the girls at CL were bigger girls and most had tats. I looked for something worthwhile to spend my money on but didn't see anything.

As an old guy that remembers the great years when we had the best strip clubs in the country, it is sad to see all of the clubs in the state they are in today. I don't know where the girls are these days, but they don't want to be dancers.
