Checking in at Baby Dolls

Hadn't been to Baby Dolls in years. Was visiting the Dallas metroplex area and decided to check out the scene given Covid but also Texas' no mask policy. Arrived around 12:30 AM on a Wednesday night. Despite the late hour and off/on again sprinkles that evening the club was surprisingly moving. There were easily 20+ dancers and 3 or 4 times that number of patrons. It's a pretty good sized club so it didn't feel packed but also not empty with just a few PL's hanging about. They had dancers on 3 stages. Clientele was a mix of casually dressed business men into their late 50's to 20-somethings in jeans and t-shirts. (I fall into the former more than the latter.)

A couple of things stand out to me. The first was that there were far fewer Texas blondes than I remember from prior visits, sadly. Instead, they score high on diversity. The range was probably 5-8's. I didn't see any 10's or 9's but also not really any that I thought should seek a different line of work. What probably surprised me most was how often I was passed by without even asking if I was interested in a dance. In fact, I was only approached by 3 dancers. I was throwing at least a dollar to dancers on the stage by me as well as tipped the waitress on my two (overpriced) bottled waters. So, I'd describe the private dance hustle as low and can I get you another drink hustle as far higher...

The third dancer to approach me was Aulani. She considers herself from HI, but I think raised in CA and dances both places as well as Texas. She was a slim, 5'7" brunette with handful sized breasts. I'd say she was mid-30's and a 7+. Nice figure but maybe some botox or fillers that I'm not sure she needed or were working for her. Her conversation was pleasant. To her credit when the waitress tried the "buy the lady a drink" she politely declined. A plus in my book. Happy to buy you a drink if there's a connection but also happy to not get suckered buying drinks for everyone who sits down next to me on their own for 60 seconds.
