Packed with patrons, but no dancers
Cheetah's ownership has fought the lockdowns in San Diego and stayed open when many other businesses closed. I decided to check it out a couple of weeks ago. Arrived at 3pm on a Saturday and the parking lot was packed. $10 cover and they didn't ask for the membership card. Everyone had to wear masks. Wall-to-wall PLs, so it was tough to find a seat.
Problem was, there were only a few dancers. None of the old day crew. Had to alternate empty stages because there were only 5-6 girls dancing. Most were young and looked new.
Chatted with the doorman, who is either one of the owners or managers I think, and he said that most of the girls have moved out of state or are doing cam shows. He had no idea if/when they'd return.
