A good place to spend an hour or two

Wandered over to the Landing Strip on a Saturday afternoon, arriving just before 3:00 PM. This club has mandatory valet parking, which is $7, but no big deal. The valet guy was friendly and didn't need to give me a ticket, he seems to pride himself on remembering who has which vehicle. I guess that saves me the trouble of remembering where I put my ticket when I want to leave.

Walked upstairs and had my temperature taken, and there was no sign-in required. The club was less dim than a lot of clubs in the area, I usually sit at a stage-side table, but opted to pay $20 for a booth. On one occasion maybe a year or so ago they let me have a booth for free since it was early in the day, but not this time.

An attractive brunette server came by and got me a bottle of Fiji water for $8, and I had a chance to scope out the situation. There appeared to be about 10 or 12 patrons and maybe half as many dancers, at least at that point.
