We stopped by PIAS early on a recent Friday afternoon, mostly because we were curious why the parking lot had so many cars during these COVID times. We had been here before the pandemic on other Vegas trips, and enjoyed the chill, local feel to the place. We also researched in advance and had heard all the clubs were basically bikini bars with no contact, though there were rumors online that some clubs still offered dances in VIP. This was more of a recon mission for our next trip in a couple months.

We walked in (masks on), showed our ID, and headed to the bar where my buddy and I got a nicely-priced bucket of beers. I think all of the tables (5-6?) on the floor had a least 1 patron seated. The stage was empty, and there were only about 6 girls around the club, and half of them were grouped at the end of the bar talking to themselves. After a song or two one dancer got called up to the stage, where she just moved around a bit without anything coming off. I noticed a bucket on the edge of the stage for tips. It went on like this – dancer for 2 songs followed by 2 song break, followed by another dancer for 2 songs.

After a few minutes, one Russian dancer names Natalie came over to us, introduced herself and was quick to mention that things will be much better starting May 1. This is when they HOPE to be able to return to normal operations. I’m not sure I’ve heard the same thing regarding easing of restrictions, but June should be a better time to return.
