Opened, but trying to make up for lost income.

West. Virginia is reopened, so I decided to see what was up. I was going to stop in Clarksburg at Angels, but I guess they’re only doing weekends right now, because they were closed. So I headed up to Morgantown to see if SouthernX was open. This was my first time there.

The building is long and low on the left side of Blue Horizon as you head out of Morgantown. Ample parking out front. I walked into the first room and paid the $10 cover (a bit high for the are and day of the week). As you walk in and turn left, the bar is along the left hand wall, restrooms are to the right. I got my usual Yeungling ($6, again a bit pricey for the area) and was greeted by Ariel. Very friendly, dyed red hair, decent body, not terribly toned.

We continued past the bar to the stage area, a rather large room, high ceiling, smallish stage with a single pole. Two dancers that night. Both danced 3 songs, down to topless.

I decided to take Ariel up on her offer for lap dance. $20 per song. The LD area is several high back couches in a completely mirrored room. The bouncer can see everything and the no touch rules are enforced. The dance was adequate. Before leaving, I asked about the VIP dances (which were not mentioned earlier). Limited touching is allowed. Dancer strips to topless. Prices again were a bit high compared to what is available within an hours drive. $400 for 20 minutes / $500 for 30.. I didn’t do VIP so I can’t comment on the room.

Overall, the place is clean, shows a bit of wear. The girls are friendly and attractive, even for a midweek visit. A bit pricey and low mileage, but better than nothing (which is what we’ve had for the last year)
