Worth another trip, and another.
I had a good time here last time I came through Jacksonville, so I decided to try again. I walked in about 2:30 on a Tuesday afternoon and the place hadn't changed from my last visit a couple of months ago. There was only one customer at the juice bar and one guy at the pool table shooting pool with a woman in a dress (who turned out to be the bartender). There was a dancer on stage and one sitting in the raised booths across from the bar totally focused on her cell phone. I later saw three more dancers in the club at various times (one joined me, the other two literally walked to the DJ/Doorman booth by the entrance spoke to the door guy and returned to the back). In most strip clubs that "empty" description would amount to a dead club and most folks would walk out. Sinsations is not most clubs. It certainly was nearly dead, I didn't walk out.
The club was slower than usual but I wasn't there for the "high energy vibe," or "club dance scene," or even to watch rappers make it rain on twerking strippers. Instead I was there to enjoy the company of a willing young woman, briefly in conversation, but specifically in VIP. And that's what happened. Less than ten minutes after I sat down, my $6 soda on the bar in front of me, a 30ish brunette with a very tight body and ample natural "C" breasts, introduced herself. (I think she was cute, her body was certainly shapely, toned and firm, call her a solid 7) Our conversation was interrupted by her being called on stage (where I contributed $5 to get her naked), and later by a trip to the ladies, but otherwise we enjoyed a pleasant conversation. Hands wandered as we spoke, but nothing too forward.
After a while I suggested we try VIP and she pulled me along to the back (around the bar, left down the hall, right to the VIP area, past the guy at a computer who plays tunes for VIP and on to the booths. My dancer chose the last booth back on the right. These VIP booths are just 10 half wall cubes, five on a side, with a built-in seat facing out from the center line. The club (apparently responding to the covid panicdemic) has added clear plastic sheets between the booths, which significantly increase the privacy in the individual booths. The plastic also prevents the "DJ" from seeing into the area, but that was never an issue before so represents only an illusory increase in privacy. There are a few additional booths past the ones described which are separated from the others by a bead curtain. Those are the "premium" VIP seats at $45 per song instead of the normal $25 per song. (pretty sure there is no difference in the seats or the entertainment, just higher price)
