I dunno about La Gloria - Not even for a recharge beer

Came in on Tuesday evening while ‘bar hopping’. Heard some good merengue beats so was intrigued. Quick check by bouncer, no temp check but i sanitized my hands.

Upon entry 2 meseros jumped to greet me. I said in spanish, i can find a seat, gracias. Once i sat, mesero asked my drink. Tecate light is on ‘special’ 2 for 80 pesos ($4). Cool!

I gotta tell you, the chicas in this place are milfs and overweight, maybe 10-15 total.

Suddenly a bachata comes on, 4 couples go to the dance floor. Shit I felt like joining. BG on my right, 5’6” 160lbs, not my type, but wanted to dance .she said no to the dance. Oh well, no other chica near. So i moved towards the back corner and my mesero brings beers. Opens one, i sip it and it tastes off. Maybe its me, I did just have caldo with cilantro and onions plus gum. But mesero comes back with lime and salt. Now i typically dont get served that with Tecate at any of the other bars. Maybe trying to mask funky flavor?!??
