I went to the Southern Comfort Lounge on Wednesday at 23:45 and Friday at 22:45. The cover was $10 both nights. This is very reasonable considering the club is BYOB. The club seems to be operated by a couple of middle-aged black guys, but the old 80 year old white guy I noted on my last visit three and a half years ago was still there collecting empty cans and wiping tables down. Maybe he is the owner of the property. There are two stages, but only the main stage in the center of the room was used. The main stage has a stationary brass pole and is about four feet off the ground. The auxiliary stage is like a giant table two feet off the ground.

Private dances take place in booths on the north wall of the club. Lap dances are two songs for $30 on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Lap dances are $30 per song on Friday and Saturdays or two songs for $50.

There were three dancers on Wednesday night and four dancers on Friday night. Dancer quality was average to above average, but dancer quantity was lacking. If this place could get seven to ten dancers per shift, it could take things to the next level. At least all dancers got fully nude on stage.
