Left lighter, but mostly disappointed.
My first visit to Follies Day Shift/Vivide. Interesting that Follies Day shift came up on my Google maps. Must be many searches. I followed the GPS and it was easy, but not right off the highway. I did go through some interesting neighborhoods.
The parking lot was not empty at 3:15 on a Tuesday. Plenty of parking but at least 20 cars in the lot. I took that as a good sign. I put on a mask and went to the door. $10 entry. You enter into the top floor which is closed for the daytime right now. I felt a bit like a mouse following a path around the top floor to the steps which go downstairs. I am with Shadowcat. I do not like the layout. Large sofas covered with plastic, very well lit and what looks like a stripper pole on a wooden pallet. It does seem somewhat clean and well kept. I went to the men's room which was fine.
There were about the same number of dancers and customers present. Someone said the bartender was from Follies, but I did not recognize her. I did recognize a few of the dancers. Most of the dancers were young and AA. Maybe 2 caucasians, not latinas. No Griffin girls, none of my favorite Follies girls, No cubans, nothing special at all. Customers were mixed. I laughed at the guy in a blue button down shirt and athletic shorts. He clearly changed his bottoms to come into the club, but not the shirt.
