Decided to stop by on a whim Friday afternoon. I knew Ducey had once again loosened the mask mandates a couple weeks ago, but clubs weren't really on my mind since it's been so long I went to one. Parking lot was about 80% full so I took that as a good sign. Wasn't sure about masks so I stuck one in my pocket and strolled in. Wow. It was packed like it was 2019 all over again. Went to the restroom and ugh! the trolls are back as well. Still no tip for them, I can get my own paper towel thank you. I go to tip the girls, not a dude sitting next to a sink. Made my way to the bar as there were a couple empty chairs there. All tables were taken so I got a water and chilled for a bit as I scanned the room for recognizable faces. I did see a few I remembered from way back in 2019. VIP was once again open. Still the same fish bowl setup that you can see into with the dancers backs facing the glass. Nonetheless there were VIP dances going on. I guess any contact is good after a year-long quarantine. I honestly didn't notice if there were floor dances being given. It was a bit too packed for my taste. Not cuz of the virus but just too many people in general and most are familiar with the already tight squeeze of the HL floor and chair placement.
Overall it was a good visit and felt good to at least see and feel some things a bit "normal" again.
I will be back this coming week during a bit less hectic time.
