First visit to Mcdoogals

I visited Mcdoogals in the Baltimore area on Thursday evening. It was my first time at this club and actually my first visit to a local club since late December of 2019. The pandemic had shuttered my two favorite local clubs, Player Club-permanently and Showcase, hopefully reopening in the next few months.

In reading reviews, Mcdoogals presented as perhaps the club most similar to what these two had offered, BYOB and quality lapdances without a lot of frills.

The visit proved to be worth it for me and the entertainment started before I got there. In getting off the interstate I turned onto "Quarantine Rd" lol, what an appropriately named road for the time we are living in.

The entry fee this evening was $8, not bad for a weeknight. The club presents as a friendly neighborhood bar kind of atmosphere, nothing fancy. You will not be wowed by the interior. As I walked in I observed a large rectangular sized bar, with the the dance stage in the middle of this. Of note to me was the fact that the stage was actually set pretty low, instead of being raised up as they usually are in clubs. The girls dancing on stage are not that close to the bar generally, so this is not one of your better clubs if wanting to be up close and personal to the action. There were elevated small tables and chairs set off to each side of the bar.
