Not exciting, but still worthy of a pop

First visit in months, due to this Covid situation keeping us contained. I’ll also pass on trivials about the layout of this place. Cover in the day has doubled to $10; no matter as it’s still more than fair to guys like me who aren’t complaining. I returned on a day that the regulars I read about weren’t prancing and dancing as I was itching to see. I saw the lookers like Jolie, who decides who exactly she’ll pick unlike the checklist girls who try to hit everyone of us up as we sit our little 12/14 tables off the bar. Jolie didn’t stop by me, but a rather large blonde named Jillian is extra enticing with her barside manner. It was too early to indulge. I figured maybe at 4pm more girls would arrive, but things didn’t improve.. so I took Susan/Suzie to the back, a sweet Brazilian I hadn’t ever danced with. Job was done in three, but I stayed as their dancer door seems active; maybe there are surprising treats awaiting. New American girl Taylor had my interest, but she never made to my table to close to the DJ booth. I saw Kianni, but she’s only with her regulars today. In a regretful form of desperation I went back with older Lucy, and her mechanical antics just reminded me I’ve been here too long today. I finished my 5 beers, and I’ll return later in March at a different time and day.
