In the middle of a Pandemic, I'll take what I can get.
I visited Fifth Ave. several times since it reopened in the summer. First off, they seemed to have used the forced closing to remodel. I mean, it is still what it is, but the surfaces look cleaner and newer, including the bar and the area behind the bar. The men's room seems much cleaner and you can lock it from the inside. From what I recall, the prices remain the same (no cover, $5 for a Coors Light).
It has changed somewhat over the last several months reflecting the COVID situation. The last time I went in, you couldn't really sit at the bar, and instead they had set up tables throughout the place (which is rather large), as if it were a lounge.
The times I have gone there, it has seemed rather full (at least relative to my expectations since COVID). Some of the dancers seemed like the same ones they had before, but there are also some new ones. The last time I was there, there were several younger Latina (Brazilian and Dominican, I think) women. They were attractive, but they seemed to be sitting with a group of (younger) customers so I never really got a chance to see them.
