First trip in a long time
So I Heard this place was open and since I was in OC I decided to give it a try. They post the roll call on their website for the current shift and there were 12 names listed. They no longer leave the History of RC as they used to. I was hoping to catch more of day shift but ended up arriving close to 630pm which is shift change. Several of the dancers I recognized from City of Industry. The club is in a strip mall and is hard to see from the street. Plenty of parking in back.
Cover was 15 and had to buy a drink. The bouncer said 1 drink per hour. They also gave me a coupon for the taco cart out front. A mask was required to walk in but no real enforcement once you were seated which I was fine with. The club is small and is set up in a rectangle shape. There are basically 2 rows of seat plus stage seating. I was hoping to catch Katana but I missed her. I watched a couple dancers on stage and they did a decent job. It felt good to be in a club. Was approached by a dancer who was not my type, before I could even say something the waitress swooped in for the buy a drink scam. Said no and the dancer left. Was then approached by a brunette spinner. After some small talk I decided to get a dance. As the regular dances were in the open, I had a good enough vibe to try a vip. Paid the bartender for a 20 minute dance. I believe it was 180. There are 6 vip booth with see through curtains. We went to one in the back and while not as private as COI, fun can be had with the right girl.
Had to return to LA and while I Miss city of industry clubs, this will have to suffice until they reopen.
