Another Burned Out Headlights
Based on the two previous reviews to this club I was excited that perhaps there was going to be some improvement to the Norfolk strip club scene. This Headlights is not hard to get to and had plenty of parking. When I went the main entrance was closed and had to talk to the other side of the building which faced the road. The club is divided into a beer (pastie) and liquor (bikini) side, and apparently on Mondays and Tuesdays now the beer side is closed, which was much larger and looked nicer than the dingy and dated liquor side (the ATM was on that side - $6.95 fee).
Lighting was poor, and the typical COVID BS made it hard to get a drink at the bar. Beers were only $3.95 though, served by a friendly bartender. This particular evening there was a young black girl on stage and an older woman playing on her phone, plus another older woman I figured to be the house mom. The young black girl finished her set and disappeared to the closed beer side, never to be seen again (it was close to what was probably the day/evening shift change). A pleasant white girl named Cindy took the stage, skinny but with lots of baby damage. With no other dancers in sight she kept the stage for what must have been 30 minutes, with lackluster tips from most of the crowd.
As I was the only one paying her any attention (and ones) she grabbed me for a dance when they finally let her come down. $35/song, in a back room with a camera and a bouncer sitting at a monitoring station nearby. Squeezing ass and nipples was the extent of the contact allowed - maybe that's a lot for Norfolkers but not for anyone who has been to a real club. I settled up in front of the bouncer after two songs and bailed.
