First ever visit to the Hip Hugger
About a month ago I found myself with a free Saturday. I just went through a break up...and I needed to get out and have some fun, but Covid was making that difficult. I called up a friend and he suggested I needed "titties and beer." I hadn't been to a strip club since February. After reading a few reviews on here, we made the decision to make the 2 hour drive and visit the Hip Hugger for the very first time.
We got there around 5pm on a Saturday evening. As I was walking up to the building, I noticed a couple guys leaving and they were not wearing masks. I asked them if masks were required and they answered "Nope. Not in here." I stuck my mask in my pocket, just in case. Everything I had heard and read, this bar allowed smoking inside. Not the case anymore. There was a "No Smoking" sign on the entrance door.
We walked in and there was no cover charge at 5pm. I did notice they started charging cover around 7pm. We found an empty table and sat down. At this time there were roughly 6-8 customers. The bartender approached and asked what we were drinking. I asked what kind of beer they had. Her response, "If you like Bud, you are in the right place. We have Bud and Bud Light. That's it. $3.50 a glass or $11 for a pitcher. You can get probably 6-7 glasses from a pitcher." Pitcher of Bud Light it was. I asked the bartender about masks. She said masks were not required.
