Never before seen: a zero dancer night
My main goal in posting this is to assure y'all that Expose is open, daily noon to 10 PM (Covid curfew). They were open for a bit during the summer of 2020, and have reopened in mid-November. I can't explain why. Staff have told me it's because they serve food, but currently the only food is Cup-O-Noodles and snacks from the vending machine. I noticed in the news that Pacer's and Cheetah's (San Diego) have filed lawsuits and have temporary injunctions keeping them open, but apparently it's not the case with Expose'.
The review questionnaire didn't let me select 0 dancers, but that's what I found on Thanksgiving (11/26/20). They were open 5 - 10 PM, and I was there 5-9. (I figured no dancers would come in after 9, just to work an hour.) For most of it I was the only customer. I actually had a good time, because I've been too shut in lately due to reasons, and it was nice to hear music, see flashing colored lights, talk to the door guy, the waitress and the owner, and play on my phone by the fire pit.
This was the first T-day in many years that they didn't have a feast, according to the owner. (He also said he was expecting me because I show up nearly every year.) The door guy said it was the first time in his decades working in strip clubs that there were no dancers for an entire shift. (This club does not schedule dancers but lets them come in whenever they want. The owner said he'd asked around, though, and several had said they would make it.)
