Post-Covid Tootsie's
I frequented Tootsie's fairly regularly pre-covid. I love their lobster and lemon pepper wings, and the large open space. This was my first time going since early March. Similar set-up as pre-covid, free parking, 10$ cover for the downstairs, no drink minimum that I know of, but my friend and I got two rounds anyway. If I recall correctly, the second floor (VIP) was discounted to 15$. No hookah. There was also assigned seating of sorts, with a hostess taking you to your seat from upfront right ahead of the entrance where the cover is paid.
The vibe was definitely a little different than usual. At least downstairs, it seemed like there weren't many girls. I was only approached three times for a lap dance. I got a fairly routine lapdance from a new girl who claimed to be from Michigan who went by the name Alexa. She didn't offer any extras and I didn't ask. I kept my mask on during the dance. Masks were required when walking around, but not when sitting at a table and not enforced while getting dances or more. Rooms at Tootsies are 100$ for half an hour. So, if you do opt for something more VIP it's a 100$ plus whatever you negotiate with the girl.
I've had some incredible but pricey experiences in the past. However, this most recent experience was mostly to scope out the scene and get accustomed to the post-covid changes since Tootsie's re-opened.
