Meh

I stopped by twice during a recent short visit to Savannah, once during the day and once at night. During my last visit a little less than a year ago, there was some construction ongoing, which now appears to be complete. The major change is that the entrance is now on the opposite side of the building. The parking lot is now on the opposite side of the building, too, and is much improved: larger and freshly paved. The parking spaces in front of the door were marked as “VIP.”

During my first stop at about 3:30 p.m., there were only a few cars in the lot and no parking lot attendant, so I parked in one of the VIP spaces and went in. There is a small anteroom inside the new glass doors, but no one was manning the counter and no cover was collected.

Inside, the club appears to be exactly the same, other than the entrance now being on the opposite side. The old entrance is still there, but had a hand scrawled “no exit” sign on it. It looked like some of the tables may have been removed to comply with COVID rules. There is a bar immediately next to the entrance, and then another bar at far end of the club.
