First Time as King Street Cabaret - Worth a Shot

Had not been here since it was 1337, and it is a very different place now. Late night (after 11pm), they switched to Jell-O shots only... when you like to nurse a beer, that’s not very appealing. Beer was $6, so not too pricey. They also didn’t hound for a 2 drink minimum or anything.

This visit was post- COVID, but you would not know it. No masks required to enter, no capacity limits, and there wasn’t even soap in the bathroom! If you are taking mask wearing seriously, you might want to think twice. I saw 1 person wearing a mask the whole night, and all of the girls would lean in close to talk (only way to be heard). It’s been 2 weeks, so I guess it worked out OK for me...

Very club like. There was a main stage with a small stage by the bar. Very clean and felt like a high end club. VIP rooms off to the side and ample seating. Lots of big groups (looked like a few bachelor parties). Definitely a high energy place. Not the kind of place to quietly sip a beer. The manager was a drill sergeant and kept the girls working, and tried to keep the bachelor parties in line. Also made regular walks through the lap dance area.
