Finally open again!

Stopped by the Porthole on the first Saturday after they reopened following the COVID shut down. The first thing you encounter when you walk in the door is a rope barrier. The doorman takes your temperature via forehead scan and you are briefed on the new rule: masks must be worn unless you are actually sitting at the bar. Then you get a shot of Purell to disinfect your hands and he opens the rope so you can enter. He was polite and friendly.

The place is pretty much the same as it was prior to the shutdown. Bud Light still $3 and they are still doing the 2 for $25 dance specials. There were only a handful of customers and only 3 dancers on duty. I didn't stay long, just wanted to see if it was still the same old Porthole. It is. I'll go back when the world gets back to normal.
